Being a novice chicken keeper I am learning as I go. The coopcam/blog was setup so that I could watch the hens from inside the house and share stories with my family and friends. They, in turn, have shared the site with their family and friends.
The experience is rewarding in many ways. After the initial start-up, hens are easy to maintain, they produce excellent fertilizer, are a natural approach to pest control and of course, fresh eggs. I don’t have all the answers but am happy to share my experiences with you.
