Jet Visits the Hens
Jet visits the hens, but really has no interest in them. He only wants to eat the last few blades of green grass left. My neighbors dog, Ginger, often comes over to see the girls. She will sit by the coop and watch them forage. I call her ‘The Guardian’. She makes for a nice picture because she’s the same color as The Buffs.
The hens are so content, they pay no attention to these critters at all. But if they see me coming….the excitement begins.

It is Sunday, which means being a weekend watcher, I will be able to view the girls and see how they weather with the new snow on the ground. I’m sure they are very grateful for the beautiful roof on the coop. Just in time for the amount of snow this storm is bringing!
Can’t wait for the doors to open.! They bring much joy to many people! Who would have thought it!!

I agree Anita. Bringing much joy to many people. I check in on the girls every now and then. Lots of fun. I’m thinking of talking my husband into getting some. He says their poop is good for the garden. And there is nothing like the fresh eggs…. Happy New Year to all!!!! xo
